Thanksgiving is always amazing. Last year I was in Australia, Margret River to be exact, ate Raman noodles, and went wine tasting. This year I was back with the family in Los Gatos, in Northern California. There were 15 of us, and I had the opportunity to show off Seesmic. Not only did we play with the application a bit but we also watched a bunch of Seesmic episodes that I edited. It should be noted that at todays Thanksgiving was also the talented Carl Atilano who wrote the Seesmic Theme song. I got Carl to play the song on Seesmic today. Here it is live.

So a few thoughts on Seesmic as I have today, Thanksgiving, off.
I showed off Seesmic a lot today, Not just the site, but the daily videos, as well as my bosses, and my coworkers. Not only did I enjoy talking about Seesmic, but I loved showing it off, and I love writing about it at the end of the day. I think my family sees the joy I have working for Seesmic, So I look back on the day, and while I’m thankful for many things, I can say I’m thankful to have a good job, working with good people, doing creative work and having fun doing it. So thanks to Seesmic.

Moving on, I noticed today that the show tab on the right went away, and moved over to the same side as Public, friends and my videos. I think this was a good move. It’s easier to see yet looks less like an advertisement. It’s a feature, it should be in a place that people frequent. Next. I think Johann the Seesmic CTO landed in San Francisco today. So welcome to him and Anita, I can’t wait to meet them both.

Lastly, it was pretty fun to see people posts on Seesmic today. I myself posted 5 times today. Of those i’m not sure which to post on this blog post. I have “Turkey out of the oven”, “The big Screen”, “Re: Thanksgiving Final” which was a response to a family in Colorado, and of course “Aftermath”. i think i’ll have to go with “Thanksgiving Final”, most, if not all of the family made it into this video.

I’m hoping tomorrow i’ll have some footage sent to me by Loic, Vinvin and Giselle, the idea was that I would be able to put together a seesmic thanksgiving post on friday. Hopefully that will work out.
